Extras will include an Alternate Opening and 2 Deleted Scenes (Raptors and Mutadon Attack), the 6-part Jurassic World: Rebirth – Hatching a New Era documentary (including The World Evolves, Off the Deep End, Trekking Through Thailand, Rex in the Rapids, Don’t Look Down, and Mini-Mart Mayhem), a Gag Reel, 4 featurettes (Meet Dolores, Munched: Becoming Dino Food, A Day at Skywalker Sound, and Hunting for Easter Eggs), as well as a pair of audio commentaries (one with Gareth Edwards, James Clyne, and Jack Ravenscroft, and the other with Edwards, Jabez Olssen, and David Vickery). Note that there will also be a new Jurassic World: 7-Movie Collection in 4K on 9/9 as well that includes all of the films in the Jurassic Park/World franchise.
Speaking of Universal, look for them to release Paul Weitz’s American Pie: Unrated (1999) in 4K and 4K Steelbook on 9/30, along with a new 90th Anniversary Edition 4K Steelbook edition of James Whale’s The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), a new Dracula: Complete Legacy Collection in 4K (7 films), and The Purge: 5-Movie Collection in 4K that same day.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has set Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride (2005) for 4K Ultra HD and 4K Steelbook release on 9/23 in honor of the film’s 20th anniversary. Look for Dolby Atmos audio, HDR10 high dynamic range, and both new and legacy special features. The new content includes Digging Up the Past: The Minds Behind the Corpse Bride and ‘Til Death Do Us Art: A Corpse Bride Reflection.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing Bernard MacMahon’s recent Becoming Led Zeppelin (2025) documentary on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Steelbook on 9/30. Here’s what that looks like…

They also have Sam Raimi’s The Quick and the Dead (1995) coming in 4K Steelbook on 10/7. That will include Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
And our friends at Shout! Factory have unveiled a bunch of new 4K titles as well for release in October, including Mario Bava’s Black Sunday (1960) and Peter Hyams’ End of Days (1999) on 10/7, Derek Cianfrance’s The Place Beyond the Pines: Shout Select (2012), Oliver Stone’s Savages: Shout Select (2012), and Werner Herzog’s Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) on 10/21, and Mike Nichols’ Catch 22 (1970) and Mike Flanagan’s Hush (2016) on 10/28. Hush comes in Steelbook packaging with two cuts of the film. Don’t forget that the company is also releasing the animated Arcane: League of Legends – Season Two (2024) in 4K Steelbook for GKids on 10/28.
Meanwhile, Vinegar Syndrome will release Larry Fessenden’s No Telling (1991) and Habit (1995), as well as Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz’s Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D. (1990) in standard edition 4K Ultra HD on 9/30, while their Cinématographe label will release Jim McBride’s Breathless (1983) on the format on that same day.
And finally today, Paramount has already listed Akiva Schaffer’s The Naked Gun (2025) for Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD pre-order on Amazon and elsewhere. So too has Warner Bros. listed James Gunn’s Superman (2025) for pre-order on all formats. And Universal will soon begin taking pre-orders on Pierre Perifel and JP Sans’ animated The Bad Guys 2 on all formats. The street dates for each are TBA.
