It’s going to include all four films in 4K Ultra HD only—Ted Kotcheff’s First Blood (1982), George P. Cosmatos’ Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Peter MacDonald’s Rambo III (1988), Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo (2008), and Adrian Grünberg’s Rambo: Last Blood (2019). Rambo and Rambo: Last Blood will both include the Theatrical and Extended versions. All of the films will include Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos. In addition, First Blood and Rambo III will also include the Original English 5.1 Dolby Audio, while Rambo: First Blood Part II will also include the Theatrical 70 mm 5.1 Dolby Audio.
And here’s something worth noting: This set will apparently address all of the various and sundry picture and sound issues that fans have flagged with previous releases on Blu-ray, DVD, and LaserDisc over the years!
In terms of special features, the First Blood 4K disc will include audio commentary with Sylvester Stallone and a second commentary with David Morell. Rambo: First Blood Part II will include audio commentary with George P. Cosmatos. Rambo III will include audio commentary with Peter MacDonald. Rambo (2008) will include audio commentary with Stallone on the Theatrical Cut only. And the 4K disc of Rambo: Last Blood will include no extras on the 4K disc, but again keep in mind that both this disc and Rambo (2008) will include two cuts of the film.
The set will also include a 4K bonus disc—not a Blu-ray—that’s a 100 GB disc and that will include all of the legacy special features and some new features too! They include:

- Storyboarding First Blood

Whew! Essentially, that should be everything that was included on previous DVD, LaserDisc, and Blu-ray editions (including International DVD release). Here’s what the packaging will look like…
Amazon pre-orders should begin here soon (click here or on the images above).
All right, and we have one last cool thing to mention to you guys today: If all goes will with the countdown, NASA will launch the Artemis II mission at about 3:24 pm Pacific Time (6:24 pm Eastern), sending four astronauts—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen—on a 10-day mission that will take them around the Moon for the first time since 1972, and father (and faster) out into deep space than any humans have ever traveled! Launch coverage has already started, and you can watch it live below. Currently the weather looks 80% go for launch and the launch window is about two hours long. If they end up scrubbing today, they’ll reset to try again in the next couple of days.
I’m just old enough to (barely) remember what it was like to watch astronauts walking on the Moon in 1972, so I’ve been waiting for them to go back my entire life. So let me tell you, this is very exciting and you should all be watching—especially with your kids!
After the launch, you can track the flight live 24/7 over the next 10 days via this website (or NASA’s official mobile app). Enjoy the launch and Go Artemis II!
Back with more soon!
Stay tuned…
